October 8, 2020 - You made the 2020 CPES Conference a success!
The 2020 CPES & PEC Conferences were highly innovative and shattered previous participation records. This success was due in large part to the suggestions and feedback from the IAB.Held online August 31st through September 4th and open to all CPES Members, the five days featured more than 70 hours of keynotes, technical presentations, and panels with more than 3600 attendees across all sessions. More than 65% of all CPES Members, including more than 80% of both Principal Plus and Principal companies, had employees attend. The IAB input provided on the format and schedule was key to such a high-level involvement.
Non-member organizations also responded en masse to the relatively low $100 registration fee, an idea originating from the IAB Executive Committee. More than 50 companies joined 20 academic and government representatives. This dramatic increase in non-members â last year only 11 attended â affords a rich opportunity to establish contacts for recruitment and strengthen collaboration.
